New Flair flights to Mexico City from YYZ, YVR

Flair Airlines has announced the launch of non-stop flights to Mexico City International Airport Benito Juárez (MEX) from both Vancouver (YVR) and Toronto (YYZ). These services will start in October 2025, with three flights per week on each route.

One-way fares will start from C$160 for YYZ-MEX and C$141 for YVR-MEX. The YVR-to-MEX flights operate on Mondays, Fridays and Sundays, while the return flights from MEX to YVR operate on Mondays, Tuesdays and Saturdays. The YYZ-to-MEX flights operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, while the return flights operate on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

The first flight from Vancouver departs on Oct. 27, while the first flight from Toronto departs on Oct. 28. The schedule will operate on a year-round basis, not seasonal.

“For too long, flights to Mexico City have been out of reach for too many,” said Maciej Wilk, CEO of Flair Airlines. “We’re changing that. Flair makes it possible for customers to explore the capital of Mexico, and for Mexicans to discover all that Toronto and Vancouver have to offer.” Flair is the first Canadian value carrier to offer direct, affordable access to Mexico’s capital, says the airline.

Flair continues to expand its Mexico network, building on popular services to Cancun, Puerto Vallarta and Guadalajara. The addition of Mexico City, the country’s cultural, political and culinary hub, opens new opportunities for travel, tourism and business connections, says Flair.

“On behalf of the Consulate General of Mexico in Vancouver, I am delighted to welcome Flair’s new direct flights to Mexico City from Vancouver and Toronto,” said the Acting Consul for Mexico, General Luis Hernandez. “Expanding reliable and affordable air service strengthens the vital links between our two nations and opens new opportunities for travel, tourism and economic exchange.”
