Grupo Posadas taking a transformative approach to Canada

If you ask Enrique Calderón, Chief Operating Officer of Grupo Posadas, about the future of the all-inclusive, he’ll tell you that future “lies in segmentation and innovation: luxury adults-only resorts like Live Aqua Los Cabos, multigenerational properties like Funeeq Punta Cana, and personalized wellness-driven offerings.”

The point being, Calderón observed, is that: It’s not about one-size-fits-all anymore, rather [it’s about] designing distinct experiences that meet travellers where they are.”

Headquartered in Mexico City, Calderón points out that: “We’ve been in the hospitality industry for over five decades. We’ve grown to become Mexico’s leading hotel operator, managing more than 200 hotels and over 30,000 rooms across the country’s most important beach and city destinations. While our roots are in Mexico, our reach is now extending into the Caribbean as well, with a growing presence in the Dominican Republic.”

And he told Canadian Travel Press that: “What sets us apart is that we don’t view all-inclusive as a commodity. For us, it’s a platform to deliver exceptional hospitality with purpose. Our key differentiator is our ability to localize and personalize the experience while maintaining consistency in quality.”
