Fort Myers rolls out the red carpet for industry at TIFF 2025

It was all glitz and glamour as Fort Myers hosted travel industry VIPs at an exclusive cocktail reception at Le Germain Hotel, Toronto.

For the second year in a row, Fort Myers was the main travel sponsor of the Hello! Canada and Toronto Life Magazine Hollywood North Party – the official kick-off party for the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) – and it hosted the sparkly event at Le Germain before the opening party.

Fort Myers rolled out the red carpet for its guests – a signature feature throughout the 10 days of TIFF – taking the opportunity to let the travel trade types attending that the numbers from Canada for first six months 2025 are up; and in passing on that information, thanked both Air Canada and Westjet for the lift.

Not surprisingly, it was TIFF after all, officials from Fort Myers also talked to their guests about the Fort Myers Film Festival which takes place from May 20 to May 24, 2026. Check out https://filmfreeway.com/FortMyersFilmFestival for more.
