Acapulco gears up for travel advisor events in Canada

The Acapulco Destination Marketing Office is working to familiarize travel agents in Quebec and Ontario with what awaits clients they send to Acapulco.
The tourist board will soon hold downtown presentations in 3 cities, with a Nov. 4 Toronto breakfast event held at the One King West Hotel at 9.a.m., a Montreal breakfast event slated for Nov. 5 at 9 a.m. at the Hotel Bonaventure and a Nov. 6 Quebec City planned for the Restaurant Louis Hebert at noon.
The Acapulco Hotel Association, representing all hoteliers, Mundo the Imperial, Princess, the Pierre Marqués, the Palacio Imperial hotel, the Acapulco Tourism Board, as well Cesar Castaneda, who once oversaw Mexico Tourism Board Offices in Montreal and Toronto.
There will be prizes and giveaways including stays in Acapulco.
The destination is fully recovered from past hurricanes and will host important events in 2026, including the 50th anniversary of Tianguis Turístico, tennis tournaments, concerts, the World Paddle Tournament and the FIFA World Cup Beach, Triathlon, and food festivals among other things.
Classic music concerts with the Acapulco Philharmonic are free every week and there will be the 90th anniversary of La Quebrada events. The award-winning, short documentary on La Quebrada called Voices from the Abyss can be seen.
