Windjammer Landing unveils $40 million transformation

Windjammer Landing Resort & Residences has completed a transformative three-year renovation that redefines the property as one of the Caribbean’s leading luxury resorts.
With more than USD $40 million invested, the resort has elevated every aspect of the guest experience, from infrastructure and design to culinary offerings and new service standards.
Windjammer Landing recently joined the Leading Hotels of the World, a collection of independently owned hotels recognized for delivering exceptional guest experiences. As the only resort on the island with this designation, this achievement reflects the resort’s commitment to family-friendly service and authentic Saint Lucian hospitality. Following this recognition, Google and Expedia have updated Windjammer Landing’s rating to a 5-star property, marking its evolution to a world-class luxury resort.
The transformation began with a complete redesign of the resort’s lobby, creating a contemporary and sophisticated arrival experience. Both the main pool and children’s pool were fully refurbished with new loungers and seating, while additional beach and poolside furnishings enhance the guest experience throughout the property.
From expanded dining and reimagined accommodations to upgraded services and amenities, the $40 million investment marks a new era for the iconic Saint Lucian resort while preserving its Mediterranean charm and Caribbean character.
The resort’s enhanced culinary program features refreshed signature restaurants including Upper Deck, Dragonfly, Jammers, and Embers, offering new menus and redesigned spaces. New additions include The Perch, a chic new rooftop lounge, and Masala, an authentic fine-dining Indian restaurant, adding exciting new experiences to the resort’s dining portfolio.
Accommodations have been extensively updated. Coastline rooms, suites, and hillside villas were renovated with modern finishes, while several estate villas were transformed into the new “Manor Collection,” complete with new flooring, bathrooms, and furnishings. The Presidential Villa, the largest on the property, was fully refurbished and now features a private gated entrance, in-ground pool, and expansive luxury amenities.
The Ocean Point Residences have also expanded with the introduction of an exclusive Ocean Point Club House, providing private check-in and personalized guest services. A private helipad is also under construction and scheduled to open in November 2025, further increasing accessibility for Canadian travellers.
This year, the resort introduced white-glove Butler Service for guests of the Ocean Point and Manor Collection residences, while the Beach Club now offers amenities such as reserved loungers, personalized food-and-beverage service, and thoughtful touches like sunglass cleaning and sunscreen application. In-room enhancements include plush robes and slippers for adults, white noise machines for little ones, and upgraded amenities for all ages.
Nick Prattas, Vice President, Managing Director of Windjammer Landing Resort & Residences, said: “This renovation represents a defining chapter for Windjammer Landing. By investing $40 million in the resort, we have blended luxury, comfort, and Saint Lucian charm, raising the standard of service and amenities while honoring the island’s unique heritage.”
And he added: “As we celebrate our new 5-star status and membership with Leading Hotels of the World, we remain devoted to offering world-class luxury with the personalized service that our guests have cherished for decades.”
As well, Windjammer Landing continues to enhance its luxury villa portfolio with the addition of La Belle Helene, which joined the collection in October 2025. A private helipad is also under construction and scheduled to open in November 2025, further increasing accessibility for travelers.
Direct flights from Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) to Hewanorra International Airport (UVF) are available on Air Canada and WestJet, making Saint Lucia an easy getaway for Canadians. Less than five hours from Toronto, Canadians can enjoy the island’s pristine beaches and lush rainforests.
