Virgin Atlantic adds new flights to Phuket

Virgin Atlantic is launching new services between London Heathrow and Phuket for Winter 2026, building on its Eastward expansion and connecting North American customers with Thailand’s breathtaking beaches and vibrant nightlife via London.
The three times a week service will operate seasonally beginning Oct. 18, 2026, as the only direct route from London Heathrow to Phuket with seamless connectivity at under two hours for Virgin Atlantic customers traveling from New York JFK. Customers can book flights from Nov. 26, 2025.
Beyond its stunning beaches, Phuket boasts a rich culinary scene and cultural attractions ranging from the majestic Golden Buddha at Wat Khao Rang to the twisting streets of old Phuket town, offering a vibrant mix of sun, culture and adventure.
Virgin Atlantic has a partnership with Bangkok Airways as well as land and sea transfers that permit easy connectivity for those travelers looking to explore beyond Phuket with options to Bangkok, Koh Samui, Krabi and beyond.
This new service marks the latest chapter in the airline’s expansion Eastwards, complementing its seasonal services to the Maldives and Dubai as well as five services a day to India including Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore. This new service will offer customers easy connectivity to the coastal city of Busan as well as to Japan, Greater China, Vietnam, Australia and New Zealand.
