Air Canada Vacations steps up to support Sandals Foundation Hurricane Relief Mission

Air Canada Vacations has launched Giving Tuesday to support the recovery of communities across Jamaica impacted by Hurricane Melissa.

The special humanitarian effort will see Air Canada Vacations donate $10 per paying passenger to the Sandals Foundation Hurricane Relief Mission for every vacation package booked on Dec. 2 and Dec. 3, 2025 — helping to provide much-needed aid and assistance to those affected by Hurricane Melissa.

Nino Montagnese, Vice President at Air Canada Vacations, said: “We are committed to standing with our partners during these challenging times. By working together with our valued customers, travel advisors, and the Sandals Foundation, we are able to bring vital support and relief to the island of Jamaica in the wake of Hurricane Melissa, helping families and communities rebuild after this disaster.”

The initiative applies to all new bookings, including vacation packages, Flight & Hotel packages, tour packages, and Flight & Cruise packages booked through travel agents.

The travel window for these packages extends until Oct. 31, 2026, offering customers flexibility and the chance to make a meaningful difference through their travel choices.

Heidi Clarke, Executive Director of the Sandals Foundation, said: “We are beyond grateful to Air Canada Vacations for joining our efforts to get lives back to normalcy after this disaster.”

Clarke continued: “As we continue to meet first relief needs and support hospitals to comfortably care for their patients, we are restoring a sense of stability for children. Over 400 schools are severely affected. We are committed to working alongside Canadian expertise and charities to help rebuild educational spaces for learning, which research shows provides physical and mental support to children that have experienced this level of trauma.”

Air Canada Vacations hopes travellers will join them in making a difference this Giving Tuesday.
