TAP Air Portugal takes off with a better way to fly economy

TAP Air Portugal is introducing a new cabin that offers more space, more privacy, well-being, and a superior travel experience.

Beginning in the summer of 2026, the airline will launch a new cabin designed to give the consumer more choice between Economy and Business class. Available on long-haul flights aboard the A330 and A321LR fleets, this product caters innovation responds to evolving travel trends and the growing demand for enhanced well-being, privacy and differentiated services.

The new cabin offers 12 select neighbor-free seats located right after Business Class, arranged in a configuration of four seats per row. This layout ensures a quieter, more private environment for a truly relaxed journey.

With the launch, TAP joins the group of carriers redefining Economy Class by offering differentiated products that combine well-being and affordability. This evolution strengthens TAP’s competitive edge with the customer at the heart of its strategy.
