Nexion set to connect with CANex 2026 Conference for Canadian Advisors

Nexion Travel Group is gearing up for CANex 2026 – set for April 27 to April 28 in Toronto – providing its Canada members with a new opportunity to hear about the latest travel trends, connect with colleagues and network with supplier partners.
The program for the inaugural CANex event has been designed to meet the needs of Nexion Travel Group Canada members, offering dynamic education sessions and immersive networking to spark collaboration, along with some fun. It’s part of Nexion’s ongoing efforts to provide its travel advisors with the resources, tools and partnerships that they need to be successful.
At General Sessions, advisors will receive updates from Nexion Canada’s leadership team, as well as hear from preferred supplier partners. Twenty-seven preferred supplier partners are scheduled to attend, including representatives from cruise lines, airlines and tour operators.
Nexion staff will lead education workshops, including an advisor peer panel that will focus on ways to build/grow your business in an ever-changing industry. Nexion President Jackie Friedman will lead a Think Tank, giving advisors the opportunity to discuss with each other a variety of topics related to running their businesses.
In addition to Friedman, Laura Bjorne, Vice President of Business Operations, and Esther Roemmele, Director of Canadian Operations, will also be on hand.
Travel advisors will also have a chance to get to know each other in a relaxing, informal setting, at an evening outing to a Blue Jays vs. Red Sox game. Also, Air Canada Vacations will host a post-event training session for attendees the day following CANex.
Jackie Friedman, President, Nexion Travel Group, said: “We’re thrilled to provide this exclusive opportunity for our Canadian travel advisors.”
And Friedman continued: “We hope that participants will have a chance to sharpen their skills, strengthen relationships and be inspired by new ways to serve their clients. We also want to use this occasion to celebrate our vibrant community of Canadian travel advisors and the terrific job they do every day.”
