TTAND joins TravelPress Live! as an Industry Partner

The Travel Agent Next Door is joining TravelPress Live! – the new two-day, immersive travel industry festival taking place on June 16 + 17 at the Evergreen Brick Works in Toronto – as an Industry Partner. 

“I believe that continued education for a travel professional is very important to help them continue to succeed and stay ahead of the pack,” shared Flemming Friisdahl, president and founder at The Travel Agent Next Door. “There are many things to learn, from AI, from destinations to attending the sessions… Being the first of its kind, I would love to help make it a success.”

Throughout the experience, which is billed as a curated festival of ideas and connections, bringing together travel advisors, suppliers and industry leaders for learning and collaboration through TED-style talks and interactive activations, Friisdahl hopes TTAND members earn useful takeaways from various sessions as well as connections made with supplier partners. 

“The key is that they walk away knowing at the very least one more thing that will resonate with them and make them better at what they love to do,” he added. 

Notably, Baxter Media publisher Mitchell McClung said TravelPress Live! represents a new chapter for Canada’s travel industry.
