Budget cuts see Hawaiʻi end decade-long relationship with VoX International

In a message to industry partners, VoX International’s Susan Webb, Colin Wood and Samantha Carreira have advised that the company’s representation of the Hawaiʻi Tourism Authority (HTA) will be ending after 11 years.

The HTA has made this decision for budgetary reasons and its intention is to let a US-based team handle Canada, although no definitive decisions have been made.

In the message to the Canadian trade, VoX said that: “Understanding that changes and budget adjustments happen, we can’t help but be sad about what is being lost and its potential impact on Hawaiʻi’s position as a top destination for Canadian visits. As Hawaiʻi’s #2 international market, we’re very proud of what we’ve accomplished, and we couldn’t have done it without you.”
