BST Vacations unveils 2027 Peterborough departure collection

BST Vacations (Blowes & Stewart Travel Group Ltd.) has unveiled its 2027 Peterborough Departure Collection, featuring six unique vacations departing directly from Peterborough Airport – including an exciting first for the longstanding charter program: Nassau, Bahamas.
As BST Vacations continues to expand its Peterborough charter program, the 2027 collection reflects a growing focus on bringing more international destinations and distinctive travel experiences directly to local travellers.
From the turquoise waters of The Bahamas to the unmistakably French culture of St. Pierre & Miquelon, BST Vacations continues to broaden the possibilities of where travellers can go while enjoying the convenience of beginning their vacation close to home.
For the first time, BST Vacations will offer a Peterborough charter to The Bahamas, introducing a tropical sun destination to the program and taking local travellers directly to the turquoise waters and white-sand beaches of Nassau.
The Nassau getaway, departing April 21, 2027, will also break from the traditional three-night Peterborough charter format with an extended four-night stay.
Guests will stay at Comfort Suites Paradise Island, adjacent to the world-famous Atlantis Paradise Island, and receive daily access to Atlantis amenities, including their spectacular AQUAVENTURE Waterpark, Tidal River Rapids, beaches, pools, Atlantis Theater and The Dig, as well as access to the health spa**, tennis**, golf**, restaurants**, casino** and Atlantis Kids Club** (**additional cost).
Scott Stewart, President of BST Vacations, said that: “This is an exciting next step for our Peterborough program,” “For years, our clients have embraced the convenience of starting their vacation right here at home. We listen closely to where they want to travel, and we continue to look for opportunities to broaden our charter program with spectacular international destinations.”
Stewart continued: “Nassau brings an entirely new Caribbean experience to the program, while destinations like St. Pierre & Miquelon allow us to offer something truly unique that travellers might not otherwise have the opportunity to experience.”
BST Vacations launched its Peterborough charter program in 2014 to celebrate the company’s 40th anniversary. Its inaugural Boeing 737 flight to New York City sold out in just 24 hours, prompting the addition of a second aircraft. Since then, the program has grown into a highly anticipated annual collection, with many departures selling out.
The 2027 Peterborough Departure Collection features:
• Nassau, Bahamas | April 21–25, 2027 A new tropical destination for the Peterborough program. Guests will enjoy four nights at Comfort Suites Paradise Island, daily breakfast and access to neighbouring Atlantis Paradise Island facilities.
• St. Pierre & Miquelon | June 17–20, 2027 France without crossing the Atlantic. Just off the coast of Newfoundland lies St. Pierre & Miquelon, a remarkable French archipelago where the language, culture, cuisine and way of life offer travellers an authentic taste of France surprisingly close to home. Guests can explore colourful streets, discover the islands’ fascinating history and dramatic coastal landscapes, and enjoy French-inspired cuisine and wine. It is one of the most distinctive destinations in the 2027 collection and a rare opportunity to experience this unique corner of France with the convenience of departing directly from Peterborough.
• Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island | June 25–28, 2027 A perennial guest favourite returns with red cliffs, coastal scenery, fresh seafood, Anne of Green Gables charm and the relaxed Maritime hospitality that keeps travellers coming back.
• St. John’s, Newfoundland | July 29–August 1, 2027 One of BST Vacations’ most popular Peterborough departures returns for 2027. St. John’s has consistently been a sellout, and this year’s visit offers an added bonus: it coincides with the George Street Festival, giving music lovers the opportunity to experience one of Newfoundland’s signature annual celebrations.
• The Majesty of the St. Lawrence aboard Holland America Line’s Volendam | September 1–11, 2027 Back by popular demand for a second consecutive year, this cruise combines the convenience of a Peterborough departure with a voyage from Montreal along the St. Lawrence River. Guests will visit Québec City, Saguenay, St. Pierre, Charlottetown and St. John’s while enjoying the comfort and service of Holland America Line’s Volendam.
• Nashville, Tennessee | September 16–19, 2027 Another destination returning by client request, Nashville combines live music, legendary venues, Southern cuisine and iconic attractions including Broadway, the Country Music Hall of Fame, Ryman Auditorium and Grand Ole Opry.
