Ensemble making an impact with Make-A-Wish donation

Ensemble’s leadership team and several team members recently presented Make-A-Wish with a final donation of nearly $7,000 including matching funds officially concluding the consortium’s 2025-2026 fundraising campaign and bringing the organization’s total impact to more than $260,000.

Ensemble members, along with several preferred partners, raised more than $126,000 in support of Make-A-Wish. Through Range Group’s – its parent company – commitment to match every dollar raised, that generosity more than doubled, significantly expanding the campaign’s impact and helping grant life-changing wishes for children facing critical illnesses.

The campaign is a powerful reflection of Ensemble’s commitment to being stronger through community.  By uniting members, partners and employees around a shared purpose, they demonstrate how collective action can create an impact far greater than any one organization could achieve alone.

Over 70 percent of all wishes involve travel, making the partnership a natural fit for Ensemble and its members. The more than $260,000 raised through the campaign is expected to help grant approximately 25 wishes across the U.S. and Canada, creating unforgettable journeys that bring joy to children and their families. For an organization built around the transformative power of travel, helping make those journeys possible is a natural extension of Ensemble’s belief that travel can be a force for good.

Michael Johnson, President of Ensemble, said that: “One of the things that makes Ensemble special is the strength of our community. When our members, partners and team come together around a common purpose, the impact extends far beyond our industry. Thanks to their incredible generosity, we’re helping Make-A-Wish make wishes comes true for children and families while demonstrating that travel truly can be a force for good.”

The campaign culminated during Horizons 2026, Ensemble’s annual conference, where members and partners rallied behind the cause through fundraising activities and donations. The final contribution presented this month marks the successful completion of this campaign while reinforcing the consortium’s ongoing commitment to giving back.

With this latest donation, Ensemble and Range have now generated nearly $600,000 in support of charitable initiatives, including Make-A-Wish and Legacy of War Foundation’s Land for Women, a program dedicated to the economic empowerment of Rwandan women through land ownership and sustainable cooperative farming.

Together, these efforts reflect Ensemble’s belief that the strongest communities don’t just grow businesses; they create opportunities to change lives. By bringing the travel industry together around meaningful causes, Ensemble continues to demonstrate that success is measured not only by the journeys it helps create, but by the positive impact those journeys can have on the world.
