Frontier North Adventures unveils fully renovated Tundra Inn in Churchill

Frontiers North Adventures has completed the expansion and an extensive first round of renovations at the Tundra Inn, located in the heart of Churchill, Manitoba.
The newly refreshed Tundra Inn seamlessly blends modern comfort with unique northern charm. The renovations were designed with contemporary travellers in mind, ensuring that guests returning from a thrilling day of viewing polar bears, beluga whales, or northern lights have a warm and inviting space in which to relax
Renovations include a welcoming lobby, new room configurations with king and loft beds, a fully accessible guest room on the main floor, and contemporary fixtures throughout. New guest rooms feature keyless entry, smart TVs, and bedside charging. Ptarmigan, the Inn’s sister restaurant, is steps from the front door and serves subarctic dishes with a modern flair.
Lisa-Joy Gunter, President and Co-Owner of Frontiers North Adventures, said that: “Above all we are hosts, and hosting well in the north means investing in it.”
Gunter continued: “The Tundra Inn has always been loved for its cozy charm, cleanliness, and friendly staff. We knew it was time to build on that. With 21 new guest rooms, 44 in total, and new gathering spaces, our guests receive that same signature hospitality in a property built for the way people travel today. This is one more investment in Churchill, and we can’t wait to share it with you.”
The Tundra Inn is now fully open and ready to welcome guests for the upcoming travel seasons. Whether visiting for summer beluga whales, autumn polar bears, or dancing northern lights of winter, travellers can expect an unparalleled stay at the Tundra Inn in the heart of Churchill.
