Trafalgar streamlining portfolio, incorporating Insight Vacations and Costsaver under one brand

With the goal of simplifying its product offerings and making it easier for advisors to sell, TTC Tour Brands is incorporating Insight Vacations and Costsaver under the Trafalgar umbrella.
“We are unifying our products and making the portfolio way simpler to sell,” Joe Robinson, senior vice president, sales, North America, for TTC Tour Brands, shared virtually during a partner appreciation event in Toronto. “Today, you’re navigating three separate tour brands. You have Trafalgar; Insight Vacations — that sits at the premium tier, and then Costsaver that sits in a value tier. All with different sets of collateral, positioning stories and different places to look, and even potentially different customer sets. However, going forward, you’re going to have one trusted Trafalgar brand with three clear value tiers.”
The newly announced three-tier structure will feature Saver, Classic and Premium tours, across an expanded range spanning more than 600 itineraries across 75 countries.

“For the year of 2027, nothing is changing about the experiences your clients already know and love,” he added. “Trafalgar Classic is still the Trafalgar you’ve always trusted: same trips, same travel directors, the same high standards. Our Premium tier of trips are run by Insight Vacations. That is the same team, the same renowned premium experience. All that same attention to detail that your clients happily pay for and return year after year. And our Saver value tier are going to be run by Costsaver, delivering the same unbeatable value. What’s changing is just the how we present it and where you, as an advisor, can go to book it… What gets easier is finding it, explaining it, how to sell it. It’s just one portfolio, one conversation with your client, and maybe three different price points to land on.”
Robinson shared that the new era for Trafalgar rolls out in Q4 this year, and will be bookable through TTC Tour Brands’ website and agent portal, deliberately launching ahead of the Black Friday booking period.
Trafalgar river cruises debuted earlier this year
In addition to branching out into river cruising earlier this year, Robinson noted that the group sales offering have also been refreshed.
“If groups are part of your business, this is the piece to pay attention to. Trafalgar is now built to be your strongest group partner across tours, small groups, and river cruises,” Robinson noted. “We also offer fully custom trips, and to my knowledge, we’re one of the only larger brands that offers custom trips. And that’s what we’re best at — if you have a group with a specific idea, a specific date, or a specific set of requirements, bring it to us. That’s the work we love to do. We have a dedicated team. We freed up allocation across 90% of our inventory, so it’s real-time inventory that we can quickly turn around and get you quotes in a much faster way.”
In Q1 of 2027, advisors can expect Trafalgar’s largest marketing campaign to date.

“Our research and data shows that somewhere between 60-64 per cent of the bookings generated by these consumer awareness campaigns are actually made through you, our travel advisors,” Robinson noted. “So for every dollar of that that we put in, 60 per cent of that is going to you, or 60 per cent of those travellers are visiting your shops, and we love that. When we spend money making consumers want to travel with Trafalgar, roughly six out of every 10 of those people walk into a travel advisor’s office to book it. That is true demand generation for your business, funded on our side of the ledger. That’s very good to me.”
Jenni Berg, director, strategic accounts, for TTC Tour Brands, was quick to share that brands like Brendan Vacations and Contiki will continue to be separate brands. Berg highlights that the streamlined product benefits from Trafalgar’s strong brand positioning and alleviates competition from within its own portfolio of brands.
A webinar is taking place tomorrow for advisors to learn all about what’s next and the changes taking place.
