Porter Airlines, Blue Rewards team up with new partnership

Blue Rewards and Porter Airlines have unveiled a strategic partnership naming Porter the preferred airline partner of Blue Rewards. Now, Blue Rewards Members who link their Blue Rewards and VIPorter accounts can earn VIPorter points up to 20% faster and receive bonus Blue Points when redeeming for eligible Porter flights through Blue Rewards Travel.

In the coming months, linked Members will also be able to convert Blue Points into VIPorter points.

The partnership builds on BMO and Porter’s relationship since the launch of the BMO VIPorter Mastercard in 2025. The partnership gives Canadians a seamless way to maximize their rewards across both loyalty programs. By linking their Blue Rewards and VIPorter accounts, Members can earn more VIPorter points for every Porter flight and access dedicated promotional offers, including:

• Members can earn 500 Blue Points and 500 VIPorter points when they link their Blue Rewards and VIPorter accounts.

Linked Members earn additional VIPorter points for every Porter flight they take, on top of their base earn of 5-7 VIPorter points per dollar spent (excluding taxes and fees):

• Earn 1 additional VIPorter point for every $1 spent (excluding taxes and fees) on the purchase of Porter flights as a linked Blue Rewards Member with an eligible linked BMO payment card or,
• Earn 1 additional VIPorter point for every $2 spent (excluding taxes and fees) on the purchase of Porter flights as a linked Blue Rewards Member.
• Earn 1 additional VIPorter point for every $2 spent (excluding taxes and fees) on the purchase of Porter flights as a linked Blue Rewards Member.

Exclusive Redemption Benefits

When redeeming Blue Points for eligible Porter flights through Blue Rewards Travel, powered by Expedia, Members earn bonus Blue Points based on the flight booking value.

• 1,000 bonus Blue Points on eligible flights valued at up to $350.
• 3,750 bonus Blue Points on eligible flights valued from $351 to $450.
• 7,500 bonus Blue Points on eligible flights valued at more than $451.

Limited-Time Offers

• From now until November 30, 2026, Blue Rewards Members with an eligible BMO payment card can earn up to 1,500 additional bonus Blue Points when redeeming Blue Points for an eligible Porter flight through Blue Rewards Travel.

Points Conversion

• In the coming months, linked Blue Rewards Members will be able to convert Blue Points into VIPorter points at a 2:1 ratio.
