Canadian ‘Sell Your Way’ winners experience Seattle firsthand

While summer drew to a close, things were just ramping up for three well deserving winners of the 2026 Sell Your Way to the USA program.

Taking place between September 20-24, 2026, the FAM was hosted by Visit Seattle and partners in Snohomish County and included some of the region’s top attractions.

The lucky winners were:

• Shy Alarakhia, Senior Cruise & Vacation Consultant – Expedia Cruises;
• Sandra Williams-Reid, Travel Advisor – TTI Travel Canada; and
• Brittany Uskoski, Senior Corporate Travel Consultant – BCD Travel

Caitlyn Shearer, Market Development Manager at Visit Seattle, observed that: “Canada is an important market for Seattle, sitting #1 for inbound international visitation with an estimated 1.15 million visitors in 2025. Despite this top ranking, the travel landscape between Seattle and Canada remains unpredictable.”

Shearer told Travel Press Today (TPT) that: “With this in mind, we want to ensure our travel trade partners know what the Emerald City has to offer: effortless access to nature (right in the heart of the city!), a spirited sports scene, and our timeless, iconic attractions! The Sell Your Way program is an excellent way to engage these trade partnerships, while highlighting a city we all know and love.”

While in Seattle the winning trio of advisors took in a host of activities including an Argosy Harbor Cruise, a ride to the top of the iconic Seattle Space Needle, some time at the Museum of Pop Culture, and an evening of Mariners baseball.

Outside of Seattle proper activities included a Boeing Factory Tour, a stroll along the docks at the Port of Everett, and a full day exploring the beautiful Olympic National Park.
