Ensemble Takes Community on the Road with Six-City Skyline Series

Ensemble took its message to its members and partners in six North American city as part of its recently wrapped up 2026 Skyline series, which features conversation, learning and meaningful connection closer to home.

Held throughout September, Skyline traveled to Montreal, San Diego, Vancouver, Toronto, Atlanta and Calgary, offering a complement to Ensemble’s larger network-wide events. Each stop brought members, preferred partners and Ensemble leadership together for two days of programming focused on industry trends, business-building, professional development and partner updates, with plenty of time built in for networking and shared experiences.

Skyline also gave attendees the chance to connect directly with their regional Business Development Managers (BDM) from Ensemble’s robust partner network and turn that relationship into actionable opportunities for their businesses.

The regional format is an important part of Ensemble’s broader event strategy, which includes a series of branded experiences throughout the year, each created with a distinct audience, purpose, and format.

While events such as Horizons bring the entire network together, Skyline takes the opposite approach, going directly into key markets to create smaller settings where members and partners have more time for conversation and relationship-building.

Shahla Lalani, SVP, Marketing and Events, Ensemble, explained that: “Skyline is really about meeting our community where they are. We believe there is tremendous value in bringing our entire network together, but there is something equally valuable about creating smaller experiences in our members’ own regions.”

Lalani continued: “The conversations are different. People have more time together, partners can connect directly with advisors, and our team has the opportunity to listen and learn. That balance of learning, networking and shared experiences is exactly what we want our events to deliver.”

Programming throughout the six-city series included conversations on emerging travel trends and how advisors can turn those trends into bookings, ways to leverage AI in their businesses, supplier and destination updates, communication and professional development sessions, and hands-on learning around Ensemble resources including ADX, its proprietary booking platform.

As well, Skyline provided opportunities for members to hear directly from preferred partners, including dedicated panels and discussions with cruise lines, tour operators, destinations and other travel companies. Ensemble executives and team members participated throughout the series, providing updates while also spending time with members and partners in each market.

Ensemble President Michael Johnson said that: “One of the most important things we can do as an organization is spend time with our members and partners and listen. Skyline gives us the opportunity to hear what they are seeing in their businesses, what their clients are asking for and where they see opportunities ahead.”

And he noted that: “Those conversations help us understand how we can continue to be a better partner for growth while also reinforcing what stronger through community really means. We learn as much from being in these rooms as we hope our members take away from being there.”

While learning and business development were central to Skyline, each stop also included an experience designed to give members and partners time to connect outside a traditional meeting environment.

In Montreal, attendees experienced AURA at the Basilique Notre-Dame de Montréal and gathered for dinner at Gaspar Brasserie.

San Diego brought a distinctly different energy with Skyline Night Fever, a 1970s disco-themed rooftop evening that saw members and partners fully embrace the theme.

Vancouver introduced some friendly competition with The Great Bowl Off, while Toronto took the community to the waterfront for a Deep Sea Soirée.

In Atlanta, attendees headed to the ballpark for an Atlanta Braves game, while Calgary brought the series to a spirited close at Denim and Diamonds Ranch, where attendees traded business casual for cowboy boots and hit the dance floor for a night of line dancing and Western style fun.

The variety was intentional. By combining business-focused programming with opportunities to experience something together, Skyline created space for conversations and connections to continue well after the formal sessions ended.

That approach reflects Ensemble’s three core commitments: to be a partner for growth, to be stronger through community and to help members stay one step ahead. Across Skyline, those principles came to life through actionable business insights, direct access to partners and Ensemble leadership, professional development and the relationships built across the network.

Said Lalani: “Community doesn’t happen because you put people in the same room. It comes from creating reasons for people to talk, share ideas, learn from each other and enjoy spending time together. That is something we think about very intentionally when we design our events, and Skyline is a great example of how those connections can grow when you bring the experience closer to members.”
