Porter adding five domestic routes from London International Airport (YXU)

Porter Airlines is introducing five new domestic routes from London International Airport in the spring of 2027. The new service will link London, Ont. directly with Edmonton, Halifax, Montreal-MET, Ottawa and Vancouver.
These year-round routes are part of Porter’s commitment to providing meaningful connectivity for Southwestern Ontario, offering local travellers direct access to key business and leisure hubs across Canada.
And it builds on the airline’s latest announcement introducing four routes to sun destinations in Florida, Mexico and Jamaica starting this winter.
Kevin Jackson, president, Porter Airlines, explained: “We are building on the strong passenger response to our recent winter sun destinations announcement by introducing five nonstop domestic routes. This expansion demonstrates that Porter is committed to making London a meaningful part of our network.”

Jackson continued: “Travellers across Southwestern Ontario will have convenient access to popular cities from coast to coast, combined with the elevated, passenger-first experience Porter is known for. The addition of these routes ensures that over two million residents in the region have convenient travel options from their local airport.”
Daily flights on every route ensures that people can travel when they need to. This includes up to three daily roundtrips for Montreal and Ottawa, giving business travellers the ability to make same-day trips. Flights to Montreal Metropolitan Airport feature access to the city’s newest air travel experience. Located 30 minutes from downtown, MET provides a premium waiting lounge environment that is fast and easy to navigate from check in to boarding.
Scott McFadzean, president and CEO, London International Airport, observed: “This announcement is about more than new flights. It is about connecting Southwestern Ontario to opportunities across Canada. These five domestic non-stop routes represent a transformational investment in our region, strengthening access for travellers and businesses while enhancing London’s position as a growing centre for aviation and aerospace. We thank Porter Airlines for their continued confidence in our airport, our community and our future.”
Routes will be operated using a combination of Porter’s state-of-the-art 132-seat Embraer E195-E2 and 78-seat De Havilland Dash 8-400 aircraft, with no middle seats across all routes.
