TTAND wraps up its 2026 cross-Canada roadshows

The Travel Agent Next Door (TTAND) just wrapped up its cross-Canada roadshows, making stops in 17 cities, from Moncton to Victoria, to provide more than 700 of its agency partners with updates on new programs, technology and a whole lot more.

The events were hosted by TTAND Founder, Flemming Friisdahl, TTAND COO Jeff Element and TTAND Director of Marketing, Christine Ufniak.

Friisdahl said of the events: “I am so happy to have been able to do the across Canada road shows, hitting 17 of our larger populated agent cities and having the chance to meet new agents personally –as well as seeing old friends. Jeff and I had the pleasure to do all this over a 10 -day period, ensuring we get to spend time with our partner agents one on one”

And he added: “This year’s road shows are a 40 percent increase from previous years and they are an amazing opportunity for our agent partners to meet their fellow TTAND agent.”

TTAND CEO, Friisdahl and COO Jeff Element provided updates on a new program that will be launched early next year before the TTAND conference in April.

The new technology revolutionizes the way a host agency will work. It is a single system solution, that includes a 100% customizable website from the base bar to every section, including images and videos.

TTAND will be the only host agency with 8 booking engines — including the best ITC booking engine.

TTAND has also created a system of integrated forms allowing agents to collect everything from pictures of client passports, Nexus and Visas — to all the supplier forms and creating a simple flow for the booking process.

As well, TTAND demonstrated the new Phenix program which is being introduced in Canada through TTAND’s partnership with UK-based Travel Counsellors.  Travel Counsellors has sales of over $2 billion CDN and $1 billion is booked through Phenix.

Friisdahl explained: “Phenix is a dynamic packaging program that will allow TTAND agent partners to have access to Airline TOUR NETS, making TTAND the only host agency with access to Tour Nets with AC, Porter, Transat, Air France, Delta, Virgina Atlantic and KLM.   No other Canadian host agency has these contracts —and this will allow TTAND agents to increase their margins significantly.”
