TIME Canada heads West for first event in Vancouver

Following its recent launch in Toronto, the Travel Industry Mentor Experience (TIME) is bringing its mentoring program to the West Coast. TIME Canada will host its first Vancouver event on Nov. 18, 2026, marking the start of its first West Coast intake.
TIME Canada officially launched on Sept. 23, 2026, at Intrepid Travel’s Toronto office, bringing together mentors, mentees, partners and leaders from across the Canadian travel trade. The inaugural Toronto cohort is now under way, working through a six-month program that runs until March 2027.
Interest has continued to grow since the launch. Mentees are already signed for the first West Coast intake, and new corporate partners are joining the program, with announcements to be made at the Vancouver event.
Edith Beaudoin, Country Program Manager, TIME Canada, said: “The response since starting the chapter in Canada has been remarkable. People across the industry clearly want this.”
Beaudoin continued: “Vancouver is the next step toward our goal of having TIME across the country, so that wherever you work in travel, there’s a mentor ready to help you grow.”

The Vancouver event will follow the same format as the Toronto launch, providing a chance to network, help build the TIME Canada community and learn how the program works. It is open to anyone:
- Thinking of giving back as a mentor
- Looking for guidance as a mentee
- Interested in getting involved as a corporate partner

Air New Zealand is funding a scholarship for one mentee to join the March 2027 Toronto intake. Applications remain open at www.travelindustrymentor.ca/time-scholarships.

Each TIME program runs for six months and pairs an emerging professional with a senior industry leader for 24 hours of one-on-one, mentee-led mentoring. Participants also take part in workshops and networking events, with an in-person induction and graduation.
TIME Canada thanks the partners who make the program possible, including Silver Partners Air New Zealand and Collette. More partners are signing on, with announcements to come at the Vancouver event
