Transcend Cruises names Edie Rodriguez as CEO and Board member

Transcend Cruises has appointed Edie Rodriguez as Chief Executive Officer and a Member of the Board of Directors.

Rodriguez, a long-time, senior executive in cruise and luxury global travel, brings a wealth of leadership expertise to Transcend as the company continues to strengthen its position as the first river cruise company purpose-built for the group and MICE market.

She will lead Transcend Cruises’ strategic direction, brand development, and continued growth, with a focus on delivering distinctive, immersive guest experiences while building a sustainable and profitable business.

Her appointment underscores the company’s ambition to redefine experiential river cruising for corporations, associations and affinity groups through innovative programming, exceptional service, and thoughtfully curated experiences both onboard and ashore.

Transcend Cruises also expressed its sincere appreciation to Gregg Marston for his leadership and contributions during his tenure as Chief Executive Officer. Marston will transition from the CEO role to continue serving the company as a Member of the Board of Directors, providing continuity and strategic perspective as Transcend advances its next phase of development.

The remainder of the Transcend Executive Leadership Team will remain in place working with Rodriguez.
