TOURING EUROPE WITH TRANSAT

Transat Holidays reports that its 2014-2015 season Europe coach tours are now available for sale. Accompanied by professional guides, vacationers can confidently set off by coach to discover the world’s wonders while enjoying “excellent accommodations, several meals and a range of varied, exciting itineraries.” The majority of departures are guaranteed, and vacationers travel in ultra-modern, air-conditioned coaches.

While continuing to offer its popular guided tours, Transat has added regional tours to its program. These are more intimate, designed to balance sightseeing with experiential activities in a given region. For example, the Albi, Toulouse and Carcassonne tour, with direct flights from Montreal to Toulouse, includes a visit to the Victor Hugo Market and a cooking workshop in Toulouse, a visit to the Bouscaillous winery in Gaillac, and another to the Toulouse Lautrec Museum in Albi. Groups consist of a maximum of seven people per vehicle and are led by a driver-guide. Transat also continues to offer the Tour-and-Stay, formerly known as the Semi-Escorted Tour.
