Sunwing Brings Cozumel Closer To Toronto
Sunwing Vacations is getting set to launch new direct, non-stop flights from Toronto to Cozumel, Mexico, this winter
Operated on Boeing 737-800 series aircraft which seat 189 passengers, Sunwing Airlines’ new non-stop weekly service departs Sundays from Dec. 21.
Located above the second largest reef in the world, the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef System, the island of Cozumel (just 80 km long by 24 km wide) boasts more than 30 sites where divers and snorkellers can expect underwater encounters with manatees, sea turtles, over 60 different species of coral and a host of tropical fish.
Sunwing offers a range of varied resorts catering to different travellers’ needs. At the all-suite, adults only Secrets Aura Cozumel, couples can enjoy an array of land and water sports at no additional charge. The resort also boasts one of the island’s largest spas and its own dive centre. For a change of pace, the Park Royal Cozumel is a Mayan-style hotel with lush gardens nestled in small cove. In addition to three pools, including an oceanfront infinity pool, guests also enjoy exclusive access to the beach and their own Beach Club.
