As part of the festivities for its 30th anniversary, Transat has announced the name of its April winners for its Surprise Dates Contest.

They are: Cyndi Afari of Flight Centre Square One in Mississauga, Ont., (Ontario-Atlantic), Barb Schmidt of Marlin Travel in North Battleford, Sask. (Western Canada) and Guylaine Joyal of Vacances Jet Sud, in Charlemagne (Que.).

They have each won a package for two, including Air Transat flights and a one-week, all-inclusive stay at Grand Palladium hotels. The prizes were awarded as follows: Grand Palladium Bavaro Suites Resort & Spa in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic (Cyndi Afari), Grand Palladium Vallarta Bavaro Resort & Spa in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico (Barb Schmidt) and Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton Resort & Spa in Lucea, Jamaica (Guylaine Joyal).

Also, $30 in Bonbon rewards were attributed to the following agents following a random draw among all participants: Cyndi Lemire of Goliger’s Travel Plus in Brantford, Ont. and Amanda Reed of The Travel Store in Summerside, P.E.I. (Ontario-Atlantic), Karen Muskens of Travel Masters West Broadway in Vancouver and Jill Michaluk of Flight Centre Woodgrove in Nanaimo (Western Canada) and Sophie Bélanger of CAA Sainte-Foy and Sylvie Tanguay of Club Voyages Boislard-Poirier in Saint-Hyacinthe (Quebec region).
