AC’s MORIN TO RETIRE AUG. 1

After 28 years at Air Canada, Claude Morin (pictured on the right) is retiring. Currently VP of Global Sales for the carrier, Morin will depart Aug. 1. At that time, Zeina Gedeon (left in photo) will add the role of Global Sales Manager, Canada, to her existing duties, while Lucie Gueillemette will add Global Sales Manager, US and International to her business card. Morin started his career with Air Canada in 1985 and over the years has held numerous positions of increasing responsibility in the Cargo branch, including a two-year expatriate assignment in Paris during the early 1990s. In 1994 he joined the Sales & Marketing branch as Senior Director, Passenger Sales until his promotion to Managing Director, Cargo in 1997. Morin became Vice President in 2000 and held various executive positions in both Cargo and Sales since that time. In 2008, he was appointed to the role of Vice-President, Global Sales.
