ACTA & Tourist Office of Spain to host 2025 International Destination Conference

ACTA has partnered with the Tourist Office of Spain for its 2025 International Destination Conference to be held in Castilla y Leon, Oct. 27 – Nov. 1, 2025.

Throughout the six-day itinerary advisors will immerse themselves in the history, culture and authenticity of Castilla y León, connect with local providers, improve product knowledge–while further developing social media business-building skills.

“Castilla y León is the perfect destination for our international conference, offering a rich blend of history, culture, and hospitality,” said Wendy Paradis, ACTA President. “With its dramatic landscapes, UNESCO heritage sites and culinary experiences, it provides an inspiring setting for connection and innovation in travel. We are excited to bring our members together in this extraordinary region.”

valuable opportunity to show ACTA travel advisors a region of Spain that is not yet widely known among Canadian tourists, allowing them to discover a beautiful part of our history, culture, gastronomy and heritage,” said Isabel Martín Benítez, Director for Canada at the Tourist Office of Spain. “I am confident that this initiative will strengthen the ties between Spain and Canada, bringing our two countries even closer together.”

Airfare is not included; however, ACTA is working with select airline partners to offer discounted rates for those selected to attend. Flight savings information will be provided upon acceptance. Acceptances will be announced July 3, 2025.

Those selected to join ACTA in Castilla y León will be advised by Thursday, July 3, 2025 and invited to provide their booking details, agree to a code of ethics, and submit a non-refundable conference fee of $799 CAD based on single-occupancy – this includes all transfers, single occupancy accommodations, food and beverage, and a custom itinerary.

How to apply

Advisors must apply online before midnight EST, Friday, June 13, 2025. Only ACTA Member Travel Advisors will be considered and those with a professional designation of CTC will be given priority. The ACTA International Destination Conference is only open to Travel Advisors, no companions.
