ACV Encourages Families to Hit ‘Play’
Air Canada Vacations (ACV) will launch its 2015/2016 Sun Collection on July 28 – a robust 375-page brochure of favourite sun-and-sand vacation packages.
The new collection is the largest in the company’s 35-year history and includes 525 three- to five-star hotels and resorts – 73 of which are new to the tour operator – and more than 40 inspiring destinations in Mexico and the Caribbean.
Most notable this year is ACV’s new and exclusive Play Collection, delivering the ultimate family vacation. Families who book an air-inclusive package from the Play Collection by Oct. 31 can choose from 75 family friendly resorts where kids aged 12 and under eat, play and stay for free. Families also enjoy an exclusive flight experience with free seat selection for the whole family, pre-boarding privileges, and a $10 in-flight meal voucher for every member of the family on board Air Canada and Air Canada rouge flights.

Family Collection resorts – 200-plus in the 2015/2016 Sun Collection – feature kids’ pools and supervised kids’ clubs, plus special offers for kids. Many have additional options such as kids’ menus, kid-friendly entertainment and activities; plus, rooms for families of five, or double, triple or quadruple adjoining rooms so parents, kids and even grandparents can have their own space.
Other Collections include Adults, Luxe, and Spa, catering to multiple types of travellers, styles and budgets. Luxe Collection resorts offer gourmet dining and 24-hour room service in an elegant atmosphere, while Spa resorts include daily outdoor activities such as yoga, meditation, biking and hiking.
Early birds who book their winter sun vacation package by Aug. 31 and pay by Oct. 31 can take advantage of ACV’s “Early Booking Bonus.” Travellers will automatically save $500 per couple or $700 per family ($250 per adult and $100 per child aged two-12) on departures between Nov. 1 and April 30, 2016.
As added incentive to booking early, Air Canada Vacations offers a Price Drop Guarantee, ensuring that should the price of the package drop after purchase, the company will refund the difference of up to $800 per couple.
