ACV Introduces New India Packages

ACV-India-July30

Air Canada Vacations (ACV) is offering four vacation packages to India to complement Air Canada’s new route from Toronto to Delhi beginning Nov. 1.

The featured packages are:

  • Delhi Stop Over – City Stay (four days/three nights): This package includes a sightseeing tour of New and Old Delhi with a private guide. Tour highlights include the Humayun Tomb and Qutub Minar.
  • Golden Triangle & Karauli (eight days/seven nights): Clients will discover India’s Golden Triangle route; Karauli, home of the famous Lord Krishna Temple; and enjoy a dinner and interactive cooking session with an Indian family in Jaipur.
  • Palaces of Rajasthan (10 days/nine nights): Clients will explore historical forts and palaces of Royal Rajasthan and also enjoy a dinner and interactive cooking session with an Indian family in Jaipur. This package also includes tickets to a Bollywood movie; a boat ride on Lake Pichola and high tea at the Jag Mandir Palace.
  • Best of North India (12 days/11 nights): Clients will experience an evening Aarti ceremony on the Ganges River including dance performance and dinner with an Indian family, as well as a private boat ride.

All of the packages to India include accommodations in four- and five-star hotels with a maximum occupancy of three guests. Tours include private transportation and are available with French or English speaking guides, except the city explorer walking tours in Karauli and Pushkar – these are only available in English. Optional tours and excursions such as private yoga sessions, a Taj nature walk in Agra and a photo session in Hawa Mahal are also available at an additional cost.

For every passenger booked on the packages (Delhi Stop Over-City Stay excluded), ACV will plant five trees and donate US$5 to the Salaam Balak Trust, an Indian non-profit organization that provides support for street and working children in New Delhi and Mumbai. Agents are advised that these programs are available now for bookings for travel beginning in November.

All packages are pre-bundled to include accommodations, transfers, meals as per itinerary, day tours and excursions – flights are not included. Air Canada’s departures from Toronto to Delhi begin Nov. 1 and are offered on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. This will increase to daily service on Oct. 30, 2016.
