ACV Migrates to TTS Reservation System
Air Canada Vacations’ Sun product collection has migrated to the Softvoyage TTS reservation system.
The switch to TTS aligns with ACV’s growth strategy and will standardize the tour operator’s content, increase its distribution and maximize its visibility to the travel trade. According to officials, products will be widely available and include more durations, connections, package options and streamlined pricing making it easier for travel agents to locate and sell ACV. This change will be reflected in all distribution channels including Sirev, Galileo Vacations, Amadeus Tours and Sabre Vacations.
Destinations impacted by the TTS system change include ACV’s Sun destinations (Mexico, the Caribbean, Las Vegas, Florida and Hawaii) as well as select European destinations. The new system will apply to departures occurring on and after Nov. 1, 2016.
The migration to TTS will bring with it a change in ACV’s invoice layout as well as a change to its booking reference numbers. For departures occurring prior to Nov. 1, the invoice layout will remain as is.
