Air Canada Vacations (ACV) recently met with a Cuban delegation to discuss future growth plans and long standing partnerships.

The tour operator offers 34 flights per week during high season to five Cuban destinations, including Cayo Coco, Havana, Holguin, Santa Clara and Varadero. Lift and connectors from Air Canada make it possible for ACV to bring a wide range of Canadian travellers into Cuba – influencing the country’s tourism growth and allowing for product expansion.

“Canadians have always had a love affair with Cuba,” said Dina Bertolo, vice-president, Product Development, Air Canada Vacations. “That is because the destination is not only known for its brilliant, white sandy beaches, but more importantly for its culture and people – that’s what keeps travellers coming back.”

She added, “Cuba has grown tremendously and in turn, Air Canada Vacations has grown its product within the destination. We cherish our hotel partners and it is because of them that we want to make this another successful season.”
