Aeroplan, Amazon.ca Team Up
Aeroplan has unveiled a new partnership with Amazon.ca that will allow members to earn Aeroplan miles on most of their purchases on Amazon.ca.
Starting April 24, Aeroplan members who visit Amazon.ca through Aeroplan.com will be able to earn at least one Aeroplan mile for every $1 dollar spent.
“With an ever-increasing amount of shopping being done online, we’re thrilled that our members will now be able to earn Aeroplan miles on Amazon.ca, allowing them to get closer to their travel plans,” said Vince Timpano, president, Coalitions, Aimia Inc. “Our members have big travel plans, so making every single purchase work hard for them – even as they change where they shop – is critical to our continued evolution as the trusted companion for savvy travelling Canadians.”
Aeroplan status members will earn even more miles when shopping at Amazon.ca. Members with silver and black status will earn up to 2x the miles while members with diamond status receive up to 3x the miles per transaction.
