Aeroplan Supports Syrian Refugees

In an effort to help support Syrian refugees seeking to rebuild their lives in Canada, Aeroplan – and parent company Aimia – has donated 500,000 Aeroplan miles to Lifeline Syria.

Aeroplan members looking to help can donate miles to support Lifeline Syria as well. Lifeline Syria is a community engagement initiative which recruits, trains and assists sponsor groups to welcome and support 1,000 Syrian refugees coming to Canada over the next two years. Aeroplan miles will be used for travel, hotels, car rental, equipment and other infrastructure needed to support Syrians’ resettlement in Canada.

Members can also donate miles to Beyond Miles partner War Child Canada, working with children and families displaced by violence and upheaval around the world, including those in Syria.
