Agents discover the wonders of Flanders

Canadian John McCrae may have created permanent identity for the Flanders region of Belgium with his now worldwide famous poem from World War I.
However from a tourism perspective, Belgium is often viewed as the pass through place between Amsterdam and Paris. Brussels, because of its headquarters for the UN and other major organizations will get its share of stopovers, but the real Belgium—the fascinating cities in the Flanders region do not get their fair share.

In this Voices of Travel podcast, host Ron Pradinuk will take you through a journey of Ghent, Bruges, Antwerp, Mechelen and even the Brussels you may not know about. Who better to convince travel agents that these are places which should be high on their destination recommendation lists, than other agents?

Pradinuk, a former travel agent himself, was able to join a familiarization tour put on by Visit Flanders–and hosted by Marco Frank, Trade Manager for Canada and the United States of Visit Flanders.

Listen to the travel agent voices from Canadian, the US and one Mexico agent who works with an American agency. As they relate their own from the heart experiences, you too will come to appreciate why it should be added as a must visit for people travelling to Europe.
