Agents Help Anderson Pick Covers

In preparation of the soon-to-be-released 2015 Downunder Destination Planner, and 2015 Canada & Alaska Destination Planner, Anderson Vacations invited agents to participate in a Cover Contest during July and August in search for the ideal cover visuals.

And after more than 1,200 votes, the overwhelming majority of agents voted for the iconic photo of the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge for the Downunder Destination Planner. For the Canada & Alaska Planner, the majority of votes went towards the iconic photo of the Aurora Borealis or Northern Lights.

Among all of the entries, the grand prize winners of a lunch for their entire agency delivered by their regional Anderson BDM went to Shirley Katzman of Ixtapa Travel in Saskatoon and Julie Holmes of CAA London.

The Downunder Destination Planner with the new cover is due to hit agency shelves in November. Products featured in the 188-page 2015 planning tool will range from selected sample FIT itineraries, fully escorted tours, island stays, luxury travel products, rail journeys, and new niche specialty products, and will be a snapshot of the company’s inventory for destinations in Australia, New Zealand and South Pacific islands.

The Canada Destination Planner will also hit agency shelves in November and will be a 136-page 2015 product planning tool complete with enhanced Atlantic Canada section, and diverse self-drive, independent, rail and fully escorted tours.
