Agents invited to adventure travel seminars
Pat Rochon, national sales manager of Adventure Center, will host seminars on getting into the lucrative and fun adventure travel sector. All agents successfully participating will be granted CATS (Certified Adventure Travel Specialist) designation. Rochon, who has travelled to 130 countries, will give the seminars, which will be held in Vancouver (Jan. 30), Edmonton (Jan. 31), Calgary (Feb. 1), Toronto (Feb. 3), Montreal (in English, Feb. 28) and Halifax (March 28). At the seminars in Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton and Toronto, guest speakers from Country Walkers, Exodus and Peregrine/Gecko will join Rochon in providing selling tips and insider information on walking and cycling holidays, as well as adventure touring options in Asia and Africa. The cost is $25 p.p., with each agent attending receiving a $25 Visa card when they make any Adventure Center booking by June 30.
