Agents Score Reduced Rates With Globus

Globus, Cosmos, Monograms and Avalon Waterways are inviting Canadian agents to enjoy a raft of benefits – including free and reduced travel rates – just for completing online training courses.

Three courses cover the company’s four distinct brands and generally take just a few hours to complete at the agent’s own pace. Upon successful completion of a brand’s course, agents enjoy access to an array of marketing tools, including specialist designation, ready-made customized videos, and priority presence on the “agent locator” area of the brand’s web site.

Along with furthering their professional education, the Globus family rewards graduating agents with tempting travel offers. As a Globus Tour Expert, agents enjoy the “Book 5 and Fly” benefit comprising an air credit of up to $1,000 for their personal Globus or Cosmos travel (provided five consumer bookings have been finalized). Monograms Booking Agents (“MBAs”) who graduate and make their first MBA booking are eligible for half price discount on any Monograms holiday. And graduates of the Avalon Waterways Specialists’ program can earn a seven-night cruise on select European sailings with its “Sell 3, Travel Free” incentive.

“We have declared 2014 the Year of the Travel Agent,” says Stéphanie Bishop (pictured), managing director of the Globus family of brands in Canada. “Our fun and interesting online certifications are a part of that – and of course we love to say ‘thank you’ with the gift of travel.”
