Russia Opens Visa Application Centres in Canada

Ahead of FIFA World Cup 2018 and in partnership with the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Canada, VFS Global has opened Russia Visa Application Centres for applicants in three cities across Canada – Ottawa, Toronto and Montreal.

The new centres will significantly improve accessibility and convenience for travellers planning to take in the World Cup in 2018.

The three centres in Canada are the latest additions as part of VFS Global’s global roll out of Russia Visa Application Centres. Since 2016, similar centres have been launched in a total of 23 countries worldwide. This comes ahead of a major sporting event – the FIFA World Cup scheduled to take place next year, when inbound travel to Russia is projected to rise considerably.

All centres are centrally located with multi-lingual staff proficient to handle queries and applications.

To provide easy access to information, VFS Global has launched a dedicated website providing applicants with details about visa categories, requirements, checklist and applicable fees. Applicants can visit http://www.vfsglobal.com/russia/canada for details on addresses and timings of the centres.
