Greater Fort Lauderdale Beach Wave Wall

Air Canada and Fort Lauderdale-based Silver Airways have launched a new interline ticketing partnership, making it easy for travellers to connect between the two carriers’ networks.

Under the agreement, travellers are now able to purchase a single ticket for flights to and from the more than 60 cities that Air Canada, Air Canada Rouge and its regional partners serve throughout Canada, and to Silver Airways’ destinations throughout Florida and the Bahamas. Customers benefit by booking single ticket trips and combining flights on multiple carriers.

“We are proud to partner with yet another well-respected airline to provide customers with seamless travel options between Silver Airway’s extensive Florida and Bahamas network and Air Canada’s broad service throughout Canada,” said Silver Airways CFO and executive vice-president Jason Bewley. “Air Canada will add long-term strategic value to Silver and our customers, and we look forward to developing a deeper commercial relationship with Air Canada that further enhances travel options for customers traveling between Canada and Florida/Caribbean.”

The interline agreement allows Air Canada customers new access to many Florida and Bahamian destinations, including Key West, Pensacola, Tallahassee, Bimini, Grand Bahama (Freeport), Eleuthera (North Eleuthera and Governor’s Harbour), the Abacos (Marsh Harbour and Treasure Cay), and Great Exuma (George Town).
