Air France is celebrating its new Vancouver-Paris service – hitting the skies on March 29 – with the launch of an “Air France in Vancouver, Chic Alors” contest for agents.

All Air France bookings from anywhere in Canada are automatically entered to win. Prizes are three pairs of Canada-Europe tickets – one pair in Business class, one pair in Premium Economy and one in Economy.

Until April 30, agents can sign up for the contest by answering the qualifying question. Afterwards, they can register each ticket they sell with a departure until May 31. Tickets sold from Montreal and Toronto give one chance to participate and those from Vancouver give two.

The contest is open until April 30 online at http://www.af-yvr.ca , or through agentconnect.biz. The winning entries will be drawn at random.

From March 29, Air France will offer up to five weekly flights between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Vancouver. Flights will be operated by a Boeing 777-200 with 309 seats – 35 in Business, 24 in Premium Economy and 250 in Economy.

In other news, as part of a promotion for flights out of Montreal, Toronto and Ottawa, Air France is offering Business class fares starting at $2,899 (taxes included). The promotion ends today (Feb. 23) and is valid for travel between April 13 and Aug. 31 and includes one free stopover in Paris.
