All Aboard for Jamaica
The Jamaica Tourist Board (JTB) in Canada has announced its upcoming familiarization tours for Canadian travel agents.
Agents are invited to apply now for the tour departing from their closest major city. Fams are scheduled during September and November and will highlight Jamaica’s resort areas of Negril, Montego Bay and Ocho Rios.
The trips are a great opportunity for agents to be updated on product development as well as obtain the tools to better sell “Destination Jamaica” to their clients.

Fams depart via WestJet as follows: Winnipeg area, Sept. 10-17, $449; Greater Toronto Area, Sept. 19-24, $399; Montreal area, Nov. 9-16, $499; Calgary/Edmonton area, Nov. 23-30, $499.
The cost includes return airline tickets via WestJet Airlines to/from Montego Bay, all meals, local transportation, sightseeing, all taxes and shared accommodation in a twin-bedded room. Overnight hotel in Toronto (if required) will be the responsibility of the agent.
Application deadline is 15 days prior to departure. Successful applicants will be confirmed five days after the application deadline.
