AmaWaterways Voted Top River Cruise Line by CAA, AAA

AmaWaterways was named 2017 River Cruise Company of the Year by the American Automobile Association (AAA) during the annual AAA Travel Conference held Oct. 22-25 in Charlotte, North Carolina.

In addition, AmaWaterways earned, for the second year in a row, AAA’s Best Member Service Award for the overall cruise category. In a separate event held earlier in October in St. Andrews-by-the-Sea, New Brunswick, the Canadian Automobile Association (CAA) also awarded AmaWaterways its 2017 Cruise Partner of the Year.

“Earning these prestigious awards from both AAA and CAA means so much to our sales and operations teams. We place tremendous importance on these two partnerships, as well as the exceptional service we deliver to AAA and CAA members onboard our vessels,” said Gary Murphy, AmaWaterways’ vice-president of sales and co-owner.

Each year, AAA and CAA Travel – together making up one of the largest full-service leisure travel organizations – asks stakeholders from across Canada and the US to rank preferred travel partners on multiple criteria. These awards honour the best companies in the travel industry and their commitment to providing AAA and CAA travel agents and members with exceptional travel products and services.

“AmaWaterways has worked very closely with all AAA and CAA Clubs in the US and Canada. We appreciate tremendously their support and look forward to building on the foundation of our superb relationship to bring the best value vacation to their members,” said Kristin Karst, AmaWaterways’ executive vice-president and co-owner.
