Aruba’ Bucuti Resort Joins ‘Pack For A Purpose’
Aruba’s Bucuti & Tara Beach Resorts has taken its commitment to the local Aruba community to the next level by joining Pack for a Purpose – designed to help travellers who wish to make a meaningful contribution in the communities they visit.
“Our commitment to sustainability goes beyond preserving Aruba’s natural resources and includes supporting and enriching the local community and its children,” said Bucuti’s owner Ewald Biemans. “Our guests often ask us what they can do during their trip to help those in need on the island, and this program offers them an opportunity to contribute.”
Bucuti has partnered with the children’s home, Imeldahof. The home offers shelter and guidance to boys and girls who, due to circumstances, cannot live with their parents or caregivers. Bucuti will collect items from guests and personally deliver them to the orphanage.
