Avalon Unveils Plans For A New Suite Ship
Avalon Waterways has unveiled plans for a new Suite Ship – Avalon Envision – in 2019.
Envision will be the company’s 13th Suite Ship in Europe and 16th Suite Ship worldwide making the fleet all Panorama-class.
“Each of our Suite Ships in Europe features two full decks of these spacious staterooms,” says Stéphanie Bishop of Avalon’s Canadian office. “Measuring 200 square feet, they feature our trademark ‘open-air balconies’ to bring in the local sights and sounds.”
Even better, with beds facing the windows guests need only lie back and relax to enjoy the passing views of medieval towns and vineyards.
Avalon Waterways’ signature Panorama Suites feature wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling windows that open wide (over two metres wide in Europe and 3.5 metres wide in SE Asia) to invite the outside in, without compromising stateroom space. Avalon’s Panorama Suites also feature large marble bathrooms.
The new Avalon Envision will debut in the spring of 2019 and sail on the Danube River on several itineraries including the 10-day Danube Dreams, 10-day Legendary Danube and 12-day Blue Danube Discovery.
Canadians booking a 2019 cruise by April 24 can save up to $3,500 per couple on select Europe and Asia river cruises.
