Avalon Waterways Taking Applications For Summit

Avalon Waterways is inviting 134 Canadian travel advisors to join its European River Cruise Summit in October 2023.

Held in partnership with ACTA, the river cruise company has just announced that applications are now open that will see advisors attending the inaugural gathering taken on a deep-dive into river cruising onboard the Avalon Vista.

This special event and custom, Canadian travel advisor cruise will set sail from Amsterdam and during the seven-day “Romantic Rhine” itinerary, travel advisors will not only have the chance to experience the Avalon difference on ships, they will also have the opportunity to enjoy a choice of “Classic,” “Discovery” and “Active” excursions.

Advisors will also participate in onboard workshops and special events to ignite inspiration and business opportunities before disembarking in Basel, Switzerland

That’s something 134 lucky travel advisors will experience first-hand in October 2023 – on our Suite Ships and through unparalleled excursions in ports – as part of this first-of-its-kind river cruise summit.”

As part of the application travel advisors must meet the following criteria as of Dec. 31, 2022:

  • Be (or become) and active ACTA member.
  • Complete the Globus family of brands’ advisor training program – GFOB University.
  • Complete Air Canada’s advisor training program – GSU.

If selected to join this inaugural event, advisors will be sent a full registration form in the New Year, at which time a non-refundable deposit (C$250) will be due to confirm space.
