 Awake Your Sense Of Wander In St. Kitts

The new CEO of the St. Kitts Tourism Authority (SKTA) has big plans for the destination and Canada and travel agents here have a role to play. In conversation with Canadian Travel Press, Ellison ‘Tommy’ Thompson observes that: “St. Kitts is an incredibly sophisticated and beautiful destination that visitors time and again say is the ‘best kept secret’ of the Caribbean. So, taking St. Kitts from “under the radar” to “must visit” is at the top of my priority list.”

Thompson said that: “My overall goal of course is to increase leisure travel and to implement creative marketing campaigns that put the destination in the spotlight.

St. Kitts is an incredibly sophisticated and beautiful destination that visitors time and again say is the ‘best kept secret’ of the Caribbean. So, taking St. Kitts from “under the radar” to “must visit” is at the top of my priority list.”

And he observed: “We say that you can “awake your sense of wander” in St. Kitts because it delivers a really unique mix of adventure and relaxation with its visually stunning coastline, blissfully secluded beaches and lush rainforest that just makes you want to explore. The island offers an authentic Caribbean experience without feeling overdeveloped, but with all the modern amenities travellers want and expect.”
