On Sept. 15, AYANA Hotels will open the first five-star resort on Indonesia’s Flores Island, located an hour by plane from Bali, AYANA Komodo Resort, Waecicu Beach. Neighbouring the luxury resort is Komodo National Park, home of the Komodo dragon, the world’s largest lizard, and recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the “7 Wonders of Nature.”

Each of the 13 suites and 192 premium guest rooms at the new resort will offer ocean views looking out on Kukusan Island. The resort will feature its own private beach, three swimming pools, a spa, a gym, six international restaurants, a rooftop bar, children’s accommodations, and more.

Debuting alongside the resort is AYANA Lako di’a, a 54-metre-long and 11-metre-wide, nine-bedroom ultra-luxe traditional phinisi ship that will take guests around the island for two-, three- or five-night trips to explore all of the wonders of the archipelago.

For a limited time, travellers can take advantage of the “Stay Longer for Less” pre-opening offer at AYANA Komodo Resort, Waecicu Beach – bookable through March 28: one night free on reservations of two nights; two nights free on reservations of four nights.

The resort is also offering a special pre-opening discount of 20% off the best available rate on stays through Dec. 28 at AYANA Komodo Resort, Waecicu Beach. Additionally, guests can enjoy complimentary chauffeured airport transfer to and from the property.
