With Scenic’s all-inclusive fares, agents receive commissions on all services except hair salon services, massage treatments and port fees. Even gratuities, alcohol and shore excursions are included in the commissionable fare.
The six-part course is built to work with all different levels of agent experience – whether new to river cruising or having sent dozens of clients already.
The course offers an in-depth education on river cruising, the company’s history, the strength of the product line, detailed info on the luxury state-or-the-art Space Ships, the unique onboard and shore experiences, the use of up-to-date technology and social media to augment the agent’s efforts, and proven marketing and sales strategies to use with new and existing clients.
Agents completing the course become a certified Scenic Specialist, receive a $100 booking bonus on the first guest bookings (six-month deadline), get advance notice about FAM opportunities and special announcements (like new ships and new itineraries), as well as co-operative and co-branded marketing support.
