BEGINNING THE NEXT CHAPTER

Claude Morin, Air Canada\’s outgoing vice-president of global sales, celebrated his retirement with a stellar group of industry notables in Toronto this week. Morin has been with AC for close to 30 years, with the last five of those spent working closely with the retail trade. Calin Rovinescu, AC\’s president and CEO, was on hand to wish Morin well in his retirement, as well as praising his contributions to both the airline and to the travel trade. Rovinescu call Morin \”an amazing ambassador\” who has built a strong relationship with travel agents during his tenure in the job. As for Morin, he told his audience that it has been \”a pleasure and an honour\” to work with agents over the past half decade and thanked retailers — and his team at AC — for their support during that time. \”It has really been great,\” Morin said in closing.
