Best Of Both Worlds For WTM Virtual Exhibitors

Exhibitors at WTM Virtual will be able to promote their brand to a global audience of thousands of customers in November – both live and online.

WTM Virtual will take place online on Nov. 8 to Nov. 9, after WTM London, which will be a physical event at ExCeL London on Nov. 1 to Nov. 3.

All exhibitors will have a presence at both events, offering them an even better return on their investment and worldwide exposure for their brands.

New for 2021 is a flexible package, designed to help exhibitors who cannot visit London because of travel restrictions or time constraints.

The solution gives these exhibitors a physical stand on the show floor – called Stand Activation, in the form of a dedicated lightbox, promoting their brand without the need for staff.

Exhibitors can choose to be a main stand-holder with a large lightbox or take a smaller light box in the middle of the stand.

Visitors to ExCeL can explore the stands and find out more about each brand by downloading details via a QR code scanner on each lightbox.

There is no need for a stand host but WTM London can arrange for representatives to be there to help promote the brand and generate business leads.

After making connections at WTM London at ExCel, exhibitors will be able to keep conversations going and build more business opportunities at WTM Virtual on the following week.

They can achieve this through one-to-one meetings on video and networking with buyers who have their own tailored attendee profiles.

There will also be industry debates and forums with experts across a range of issues, such as hospitality, aviation, responsible tourism and post-pandemic recovery.

Simon Press, WTM London’s Exhibition Director, said: “Our fresh hybrid format builds on the success of WTM Virtual 2020, which saw more than 10,000 participants and 24,000 prescheduled video meetings.”

Press continued: “We are very much looking forward to reconnecting with many exhibitors, buyers and other delegates physically during the traditional live element of the show – but we know many others won’t be able to travel so the virtual element will add a great deal of value for all our partners.”

He pointed out: “Our exhibitor packages feature the best of both worlds as exhibitors will have a stand in at ExCel London as well as a global presence the following week, so they can rebuild connections with their established contacts and generate new leads from around the world.”

Press also said that: “WTM’s innovative matchmaking tools and speed networking sessions will connect stand holders directly with people who seal business deals as the travel industry recovers.”

And he concluded: “We attract the highest quality buyers from around the world and our ‘Connect Me’ meeting tool enables exhibitors to focus on key markets and pre-schedule meetings with those buyers.”
